These stainless steel cable ties, with a length of 520 mm and a width of 7,9 mm, are made of the stainless steel alloy 1.4301, a V2A steel material. They are very flexible, yet extremely sturdy, weatherproof, UV- and heat-resistant. Metal cable ties are therefore ideal for indoor and outdoor use.
When tightening our stainless steel cable ties, a small ball wedges into the locking head and locks the tie securely. In addition to their smooth surface, they assume a circular shape after tightening which prevents the pinching of the bundled items. Aside from cable harnesses, these zip ties made of stainless steel also hold conduits or pipes reliably in place.
Stainless steel cable ties have a higher tensile strength than plastic cable ties and can withstand temperatures of up to 300 °C. Another advantage of stainless steel zip ties: they are resistant to many different chemicals, except for chlorine and salt solutions.
