Description

These blue hook and loop cable ties with loop measure 305 mm in length and 12 mm in width and are easy to fasten and release thanks to the hook and loop material. The different colours are useful for sorting and identifying the bundled cables. Thanks to the flexible material, the cable ties with hook and loop closure are ideal for delicate surfaces. You can use them to support plants or bundle susceptible cables.

These hook and loop cable straps with loop have a back-to-back system. It means that the hook surface and the loop surface are on opposite sides of the cable tie. This allows you to freely select the bundle diameter from 45 mm to 80 mm and adjust it repeatedly, thanks to the hook and loop material. The closure is also made of hook and loop material, so it won’t stick out, and you can save on space.

How to properly attach hook and loop cable ties to cable bundles

There is an installation trick that will prevent a hook and loop tie from slipping off the cable or cable reel after it has been applied and also keep it from falling off immediately after it has been loosened.

Hold the cable tie head on the cable and wrap the cable tie around a single cable. Next, thread the tail of the tie through the head from bottom to top. Tighten the resulting loop firmly around the cable.

Now put the cable back in the bundle and tie the remaining cables together with the hook and loop fastener. This method ensures a tight hold of the cable tie on the bundled items and minimal slippage.

Our tip: Attach the hook and loop fastener directly under the plug. This way, the tie won’t dangle around when the cable is in use but rather stay securely in place. With coloured hook and loop fasteners, it is also possible to identify cables from a distance. Ideal for event equipment.
